About Mike McEwen
“Tai Chi first came into my life in the early 80s when I began my studies with the book ‘Wave Hands Like Clouds’ by Li Po. In 1997 I became a student of central Connecticut Tai Chi Ch’uan, where I studied with Dave Ritchie and all of the great instructors at the school.
In November 1998 I received my certificate for the completion of Cheng Man-Ch’ing, Yang Style 37 Posture Form. They asked me to stay on at the school to help teach the form and in June 2006 I received my instructor’s certification.
I’ve been teaching on my own for the past 10 years, and continue my studies of Tai Chi and Qi gong. I’ve received many benefits from my studies and I want to share them with you. I invite you to come experience the great energy at The Buttonwood Tree.” -Mike McEwen
