DON WHITE – Online! A fundraiser for TBT

May 21 @ 7:00 pm EDT

Have a laugh and enjoy some heartwarming tunes performed fearlessly by our dear friend, Don White – on Thursday, May 21 – as he performs live on ZOOM!

Seating is limited within the virtual platform for this show. Please sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040B44A4A823A2F85-donwhite2 and you will receive the Zoom Meeting ID and password one hour prior to the show.
Award-winning songwriter, humorist, storyteller, and author Don White will perform a full-length
virtual Zoom concert this Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m. The show will be free, but there will be a virtual
tip jar. Any donations will be split between White and The Buttonwood Tree.
Since the coronavirus shuttered live music venues in mid-March, White has shifted his concerts over to the Zoom platform. He has done both private and public shows. Every Thursday Don has been
partnering with a venue to raise funds in an effort to keep these venues viable during the pandemic.
White gravitated toward Zoom rather than other virtual platforms when he realized the show could be
interactive. He could hear the audience laugh and applaud, and people could stay after the show to talk to him and ask questions. This format has proven successful and he is glad to be able to help out some of the venues he has performed at in the past.
The concert on Thursday will be White’s usual mix of song, story, and humor. He’s been bringing
audiences to laughter and tears for thirty years, released ten CDs, three live DVDs, and a book,
Memoirs of a C Student. For more information about Don’s work, please visit www.donwhite.net .
For more information about the concert please contact The Buttonwood Tree at
[email protected].

¬†These shows are interactive – meaning me and the audience can hear laughter and applause. Come on out and have a few laughs. It’ll be good for you.¬† Virtual seating is limited. Access code does not guarantee entry. Come early. First come first served.
