“Blues Hall of Fame recording artist” Tom The Suit Forst and The Band Beyond
August 4 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm$15
“Blues Hall Of Fame recording artist” Tom the suit Forst and The Band Beyond will perform at The Buttonwood Tree on Saturday, August 4th. Reservations are suggested for their first-time appearance! (This is a rescheduled show from July.)
“It was one of my first gigs, guesting with my son’s punk rock group. They called me up, I was still wearing a business suit in those days. As I walked out and starting playing, the crowd was chanting “SUIT SUIT SUIT!!!”
“The Legend of THE SUIT was born.”
With a nickname like, “The Suit,” one would go in hoping Tom Forst plays as good as he dresses.
The Buttonwood family is proud to announce that yes, his playing surpasses even his fashion sense! Tom has been playing guitar and writing songs with fellow artists for almost a decade, collaborating with greats in the likes of the Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, and he’s even played on the Colbert Show Band! If you think THAT’S impressive, how about earning a seat in the Blues Hall of Fame?
Bringing with him a flavorful blend of rock and blues from his newest album, Tom is sure to put on a show that lives up to the phrase, “On fire!”
Additionally, Tom will be joined by the ensemble hailed from a place out of our reach: A Band Beyond – an up and coming trio comprised of bassist Dave Stoltz, keyboardist Vincent Brike, and Big Thurrsty on the drums.
This is a rockin’ show you can’t afford to miss! Reserve your tickets before you find yourself out of a seat, and a special, musical experience.
